A Good Day for a Magical Day (Stampin Up) Hello Friend Card

It was a Mermaid kind of day! 

For this card I cut two pieces of white card stock 4” x 5.25” and one piece of a colored card stock as my card base 4.25” x 5.5”

I folded the colored piece in half and one of the white pages will go on the outside of my card and the other will go inside. 

This card I used the Stampin Up stamp Sets, Magical Day & A Good Day

I used the mermaid from the Magical Day set and momento ink in Tuxedo Black & London Fog...

I stamped one mermaid in black and the others in the grey color so they would kind of fade into the background. 

I choose a few coordinating Stampin Blends to color in the mermaid stamped in black. 

I added a little Wink of Stella in clear glitter around to make her “glow”

Next I needed a sentiment. 

I used two of the sentiments from the A Good Day stamp set, stamped them in VersaMark and and heat set black embossing powder and used my ATG to attach the sentiments as well as my card onto my card base. 

I stamped the little seahorse from the Magical Day stamp set on the white card stock for the inside of the card. 

Using some glue dots I added some iridescent he front of the card.

And there you have it... a special card for a friend in need of a good day!

Magical Day (Stampin Up) Mermaid Birthday Card

I just love the Magical Day Stampin Up stamp set! So I wanted to create a card using the cute little mermaid!

I started by selecting coordinating papers. 

I cut the card base to 5.5” x 4.25”

The second layer (the patterned paper) was cut to 4” x 5.5”

And lastly the card piece was cut to 3.25” x 11”

For the first card I scored the card layer in half and I then scored several lines to the half way line. 

Using my ATG I taped all the layers together. 

I stamped out the mermaid and the little seahorse and colored each in using some Stampin Blends. 

I used a 2” circle punch to cut out the mermaid. 

I put some tape on the back of the circle and I then added some thread. 

I popped the big mermaid circle up on some dimentionals. 

I fussy cut the seahorse out and added some rhinestones. 

Stamped the sentiment on the inside. 

 I just love this super adorable stamp set!! I see a lot more Magical Day cards in my future!!
