Just a simple thinking of you card

Hello & thanks for checking out my simple “thinking of you card”.

For this card I stamped a flower from the Tim Holtz set, Illustrated Garden onto a watercolor paper card base and used a water pen and some distress markers to color it in.

Cute and Creepy Valentine’s Day Card Inspiration

That’s right!! Valentine’s Day doesn’t always have to be hearts and cute puppies!! I created this card using the 2019 Tim Holtz Stamptember stamp set. Unfortunately that set has been discontinued, but you could use the eye in a jar stamp from the Scared Silly Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous stamp set to get the same look!

I stamped my image with the help of my stamp platform, used a water color technique with a few distress markers, and pulled out my sewing machine so I could stitch around the boarder of the layer.

Using tear tape I taped my layer to the card base.

For the inside of my card, I chose a simple sentiment from another of Tim Holtz stamp sets, Crazy Talk!

I had a blast creating this simple and quick creepy,  but cute card! Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
